Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for a Data Entry Assistant located in Chennai. The Data Entry Assistant will be responsible for accurately entering and updating data in systems, maintaining organized records, and ensuring data quality and integrity. Additional duties include supporting administrative tasks, effective communication with team members, and assisting with customer service to address data-related queries. The role involves working collaboratively with other departments to ensure efficient operations and high levels of accuracy in data-handling.
Key Responsibility
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports
- Collect, compile, and analyze data from multiple departments
- Generate dashboards and reports for management review
- Ensure accuracy and timely submission of reports
- Maintain and update databases, trackers, and records
- Identify data discrepancies and coordinate with teams for corrections
- Support business operations with data analysis and reporting
- Create automated reports using Excel formulas, Pivot Tables, and charts
- Assist management with ad-hoc reports and operational analysis
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF formulas, Charts)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and data accuracy
- Basic knowledge of Google Sheets and reporting tools
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work under deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Computer Applications, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in MIS, reporting, or data management preferred
- Freshers with strong Excel skills may also apply
