Job Title: Data Engineering Lead

Role Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Data Engineering Lead to design and build a scalable, cloud-native data platform on AWS. The role involves developing data pipelines, enabling real-time and batch processing, and supporting analytics on Databricks while leading a team in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS-based data lake architecture
- Build and manage batch & real-time data pipelines
- Integrate data from internal systems (CRM, ERP, etc.) and external sources
- Enable analytics workloads on Databricks
- Implement security, governance, and compliance (KMS, CloudTrail, etc.)
- Set up monitoring using CloudWatch/Grafana
- Build CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
- Ensure data quality, metadata management, and lineage
- Mentor team members and collaborate with stakeholders
Required Skills
- Python, PySpark, SQL
- AWS: S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena, AppFlow
- Databricks
- CloudWatch, Grafana
- GitLab / CI-CD
Experience
- 7–10 years in Data Engineering / Platform Engineering
- Experience with cloud-native data platforms
- Strong in batch & real-time processing
- Financial services domain preferred
