Role Description
Data Engineer – Power BI & Azure (ADF / ETL, Databricks)
Key Mandatory Skills:
• Strong experience in Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Hands-on in ETL pipeline development
• Experience with Databricks (PySpark / data processing)
• Strong experience in Power BI (Data Modeling, DAX, Power Query)
• Strong SQL skills (Azure SQL / SQL Server)
• Experience with Azure Data Services (Data Lake / Synapse)
• Knowledge of data integration, transformation, and workflow monitoring
Role Overview:
We are looking for a senior Data Engineer with expertise in ADF, Databricks, ETL, and Power BI to
build scalable data pipelines and deliver business insights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop ETL pipelines using ADF and Databricks
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple sources
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
• Create data models, DAX measures, and transformations
• Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and monitoring
• Work with Azure services like SQL, Data Lake, Synapse
Experience Required:
• 5+ years in Data Engineering / ETL development
• Strong hands-on experience in Azure, Databricks, and Power BI
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Data Engineering and related tools and technologies
- Strong experience in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing
- Expertise in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes
- Experience in Data Analytics, including leveraging Azure technologies such as PowerBI, ADF, and Databricks
- Ability to work independently on remote projects and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, particularly Azure, would be an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
