Requirements
Must Have (Non-negotiable)
- 3–8 years of experience in Data Engineering / Backend Data Systems
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills
- Experience with batch and/or streaming pipelines
- Experience with relational databases and data warehouses
- Experience handling schema evolution and backfills
- Understanding of data validation, quality, and monitoring
- Ability to clearly explain data trade-offs
Good to Have
- Experience with Kafka, Spark, or Flink
- Experience with modern data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift)
- Experience with Airflow or similar orchestration tools
- Experience in fintech or regulated domains
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
