Recruit Forge is hiring a Data Engineer Intern for one of its client organizations, Rupayya. This opportunity is ideal for students and fresh graduates who are passionate about working with data pipelines, ETL processes, and analytics in a real-world environment.
Role Overview
As a Data Engineer Intern, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable data systems, working closely with data scientists and analysts to deliver reliable and efficient data solutions. This role provides hands-on experience with production-level data workflows and modern data engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python
- Develop and optimize ETL processes to ingest, transform, and load data from multiple sources
- Write efficient and complex SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation
- Utilize ETL tools to streamline data integration and workflows
- Perform data analysis using Excel and other tools to identify trends and insights
- Work with Azure Storage for data warehousing and management
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and accuracy across systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues efficiently
- Document data pipelines, processes, and architecture
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation and pipeline development
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases
- Experience or familiarity with ETL development and ETL tools
- Hands-on experience with data analysis using Excel
Good-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to Azure or cloud-based data platforms
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts
- Experience working on data-related projects
- Familiarity with data modeling and pipeline optimization
