SigmaT Consultancy is hiring Data Engineers for a leading client in Chennai (Hybrid – 3 days WFO). We are looking for strong hands-on professionals who can build scalable data solutions on GCP.
- Role: Data Engineer
- Experience: 5–10 years
- Location: Chennai (Hybrid) / Remote
- Open Positions: 3
- Salary - 20to 24 LPA
- Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days preferred
Responsibilities:
- Design & develop data pipelines using GCP services
- Write scalable, efficient Python code
- Work extensively with BigQuery for processing & analytics
- Handle large datasets & optimize performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for delivery
IMPORTANT:
1. Candidates must be individual contributors and should not expect handholding.
2. Strong foundational knowledge in Python, GCP, and SQL/BigQuery is essential.
3. Candidates should be able to understand a given scenario and begin providing technical solutions independently.
4. Logical thinking and problem-solving abilities are critical.
5. Senior Data Engineers must demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills.
Mandatory Skills:
- Python | BigQuery | GCP Data Engineering | SQL | ETL | Dataflow / Airflow / Spark - min 3 years hands on
