💼 About the Role
We’re looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer to join a Data & AI team delivering enterprise-grade data platform solutions.
This role focuses on building Python-based ETL pipelines, implementing data quality frameworks, and integrating governance tools like Informatica IDQ, EDC, and Axon within a Medallion Architecture (Bronze–Silver–Gold).
✈️ Work Model (Important)
This is a Remote (India-based) role
Includes onsite opportunities with clients
Candidates must be comfortable with travel and onsite deployment to Abu Dhabi or Australia as required
🛠️ What You’ll Do
Build and maintain Python ETL pipelines across Bronze, Silver & Gold layers
Develop and operationalize data quality (DQ) rules across multiple dimensions
Work extensively with Informatica IDQ (10.5) for profiling, scorecards & mapplets
Manage data cataloguing & lineage using Informatica EDC
Configure and support Informatica Axon governance workflows
Implement cross-system data validation & reconciliation checks
Integrate DQ outputs into Power BI dashboards
Support Talend ingestion pipelines at the Bronze layer
Perform root cause analysis of data quality issues
🎯 Must-Have Skills
Strong Python (pandas, PySpark, pytest)
Hands-on with Informatica IDQ 10.5 (on-prem)
Experience with Informatica EDC & Axon
Solid understanding of Medallion Architecture
Strong SQL & data validation skills
Experience building production-grade ETL pipelines
Familiarity with CI/CD & Git
⭐ Good to Have
Experience with Talend
Exposure to AI/ML for Data Quality (anomaly detection, entity resolution)
Knowledge of Power BI dashboards
Experience with data governance frameworks
Familiarity with Informatica IDQ–Axon integration (Axon Agent)
