About the Role
We’re looking for a Data Engineer with 2+ years of experience to build reliable data pipelines, integrations, and cloud data platforms for high-impact projects.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines
- Integrate data from REST APIs, databases, SaaS tools, and files
- Develop transformations and data models using SQL and dbt
- Implement data-quality checks, monitoring, and alerting
- Optimize pipelines for reliability, performance, and cost
- Translate client requirements into scalable data solutions
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in data or analytics engineering
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- Hands-on experience with Fivetran, Airbyte, or similar ELT tools
- Experience building transformation models using dbt
- Experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines and data modelling
- Experience integrating REST APIs and working with Git
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Nice to Have
- Experience with Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Knowledge of Medallion or layered data architecture
- Experience with Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or Retool
- JavaScript or TypeScript experience
