Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Data Engineer, based in Chennai with partial work-from-home flexibility. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and complex data workflows. Daily tasks include data modeling, building and optimizing ETL processes, implementing data warehousing solutions, and supporting advanced data analytics projects to transform raw data into actionable insights.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Data Engineering and Data Modeling to design, build, and manage data pipelines.
- Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes for efficient data movement and transformation.
- Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing and the ability to design scalable storage solutions.
- Proficiency in Data Analytics for extracting actionable insights from structured and unstructured datasets.
- High proficiency in working with relevant tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, Spark).
- Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
