Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Data Engineer based in Mumbai, with the flexibility of partial remote work. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, data models, and ETL processes. The individual will develop and optimize data workflows for efficient data extraction, transformation, and storage while ensuring data quality and integrity. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Data Engineer will also support data analytics initiatives and contribute to the development of data-driven insights for business decisions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in core Data Engineering concepts and methods
- Proficiency in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing strategies
- Strong knowledge of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and tools
- Skilled in Data Analytics for deriving actionable insights
- Experience with a programming language such as Python, SQL, or Java
- Understanding of cloud platforms and big data frameworks is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is an advantage
