About the Role
We are hiring on behalf of a leading IT Services Company for the position of Data Engineer. We are looking for a skilled professional with hands-on experience in Azure Data Factory (ADF), SSIS, Azure SQL, Databricks, and ETL development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data integration solutions and cloud-based data pipelines for enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and SSIS.
- Build scalable and reliable data integration solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Work with Azure Databricks for large-scale data processing and transformation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, security, and performance across data pipelines.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing ETL processes.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server and Azure SQL.
- Experience with Azure Databricks.
- Good understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on enterprise-level Azure data engineering projects.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Microsoft Azure certifications are an added advantage.
Eligibility
- Experience: 4.5+ years in Data Engineering or ETL Development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
