Role Description As a Data Engineer at PInterview, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that support the platform’s analytics, reporting, and product features. You will work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to collect, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources into reliable data warehouses and data models. Your daily responsibilities will include implementing ETL processes, optimizing data storage and query performance, ensuring data quality and integrity, and contributing to data-driven insights that improve user experience and operational efficiency. You will also help define best practices for data governance, documentation, and monitoring across the data ecosystem. This is a full-time remote role.
Qualifications
- Strong Data Engineering skills, including building and maintaining data pipelines and integrating diverse data sources.
- Experience with Data Modeling and Data Warehousing to design efficient, scalable, and well-structured data architectures.
- Proficiency in Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes, including developing, scheduling, and monitoring ETL workflows.
- Ability to perform Data Analytics, turning raw data into actionable insights for product and business stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering (e.g., Python, Java, or Scala).
- Familiarity with modern data platforms and tools (e.g., cloud data warehouses, distributed processing frameworks, orchestration tools) is highly beneficial.
- Understanding of data security, privacy, and governance best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
