Role: Data Engineer
Location: Bengaluru
Experience: 6-12 Year
Role and Responsibility:
• Strong programming expertise in Scala (preferred), PySpark, Java, and Python
• In-depth knowledge of Apache Spark (architecture & components) and Hadoop ecosystem
• Hands-on experience in ETL/ELT pipelines, Data Marts, and large-scale data processing
• Experience with distributed file systems (MapR FS) and query engines like Impala
• Strong experience in real-time data streaming using Apache Kafka
• Expertise in Azure Cloud ecosystem, including: Azure Databricks SQL
• Strong knowledge of SQL and RDBMS concepts
• Experience with build tools such as SBT and Maven (Scala/Java builds)
Advanced & Good-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
• Exposure to modern data platforms like Snowflake
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Scripting experience using Bash or similar automation tools
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau)
• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
