Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Data Engineer based in Bengaluru South. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and systems. The Data Engineer will work on collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets to enable data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities include implementing data integration solutions, ensuring data quality and security, and optimizing data architecture for performance and scalability. Close collaboration with data scientists, architects, and other stakeholders is an integral part of the role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience in working with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
• Strong knowledge of database systems including SQL and NoSQL databases
• Skills in data modeling, ETL development, and data pipeline construction
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot data-related issues
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Knowledge of data visualization tools and practices is an advantage
• Experience in financial services or fintech is a plus
