Job Description
KPI Partners is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining our data architecture, ensuring that our data is reliable, scalable, and accessible for analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes to support data ingestion from various sources.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and enhance data models.
- Implement data storage solutions that cater to the organization’s needs, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data systems for performance improvements and reliability.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing validation and monitoring processes.
- Document data processes and develop best practices for data management within the team.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering and analytics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and tools.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and designing data pipelines.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and their data services.
- Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
