Data Engineer (Remote)
House of EdTech is hiring a Data Engineer to own our measurement framework, tracking standards, and analytics data pipeline. If you're passionate about building scalable data infrastructure that drives product decisions, we'd love to hear from you.
Experience Required
- 3–6 years of Data Engineering experience
- Experience working on B2C or consumer-facing products is highly preferred
- Candidates from top product companies or with a strong engineering pedigree will be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end tracking plan and event taxonomy
- Build and maintain reliable analytics data pipelines
- Define and enforce instrumentation standards across engineering teams
- Ensure data quality and consistency across product metrics
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams to enable data-driven decision making
Required Skills
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills
- Experience with event tracking platforms such as Segment, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Google Analytics
- Experience with data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift
- Strong understanding of product analytics and event instrumentation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Job Details
- Location: Remote (Work From Home)
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Experience: 3–6 Years
- Work Schedule: 6 Days/Week (Sunday Off)
- Work Hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Compensation: Competitive, as per market standards
- Personal Laptop Required for day to day operations.
