About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our dynamic team on a full-time remote basis. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that support our AI-driven solutions. You will work closely with both technical and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into robust, efficient data processing workflows. The ideal candidate is passionate about solving complex data problems, takes ownership of their work from inception to delivery, and is eager to leverage AI to enhance engineering productivity. This position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in India and provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative responsible AI initiatives that impact various sectors globally.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer, demonstrating a strong track record of building enterprise-grade data solutions.
- Extensive experience working with Microsoft Azure Fabric, Databricks, and other Azure data services.
- Solid understanding of SQL, data modeling concepts, and data warehousing principles.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and data integration solutions.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Spark, or similar technologies.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms in production environments, ensuring data security, reliability, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines using Microsoft Azure Fabric to support various AI and analytics initiatives.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for both structured and unstructured data sources, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements, understand data needs, and translate them into technical solutions.
- Implement best practices for data processing workflows to enhance performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices to accelerate delivery and improve solution quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly, proactively identifying areas for improvement.
- Work closely with data architects, analysts, and software developers throughout project lifecycles to ensure seamless data integration and consistency.
- Maintain documentation of data pipelines, processes, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and compliance.
