About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team at Strive4X Infotech Private Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and frameworks that support the company's data analytics and business intelligence initiatives. You will work closely with our clients' data engineering teams to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions, ensuring the delivery of reliable, high-quality data systems. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely within India and be part of a forward-thinking organization that values innovation and technical excellence. Immediate joiners are preferred, and candidates should possess a strong background in data engineering, cloud platforms, and programming languages relevant to data processing.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should hold a B.E./B.Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline. A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in data engineering, analytics, or related fields is required. Proven expertise in Google BigQuery, Python, SQL, and Pyspark is essential. Candidates should have hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes, data governance, and cloud data platforms. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are also important. Certifications in relevant cloud services or data tools are a plus, as is experience working in fast-paced, client-focused environments.
Responsibilities
The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for building and optimizing end-to-end data pipelines, both batch and streaming, from multiple source systems. This includes developing ETL/ELT workflows to transform, cleanse, and standardize data for various analytical and reporting purposes. The role involves designing and maintaining different data layers such as raw, curated, and semantic layers to facilitate efficient analytics and business intelligence operations. The engineer will create reusable frameworks for data ingestion, quality checks, logging, and monitoring to ensure data integrity and system reliability. Implementing CI/CD practices, automated testing, and deployment pipelines will be part of your responsibilities to streamline development cycles.
You will also ensure data quality, validation, and reconciliation across systems, contributing to data modeling efforts at conceptual, logical, and physical levels. Performance optimization techniques such as partitioning, indexing, caching, and query tuning will be employed to enhance system efficiency. Maintaining data security, governance standards, and compliance requirements is critical to this role. Additionally, you will prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer to operations teams, ensuring smooth handover and ongoing system maintenance.
