About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the robust data infrastructure that underpins Joveo Ai's machine learning models and business intelligence systems. Your work will be crucial in ensuring that our data pipelines are reliable, scalable, and production-ready, facilitating accurate insights and effective decision-making. You will operate at the intersection of software engineering and data management, collaborating closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to provide high-quality, accessible datasets. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data engineering, with expertise in modern data stack tools and cloud platforms. Key qualifications include proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Scala, experience with pipeline orchestration tools like Airflow or Prefect, and hands-on experience working with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake. A solid understanding of SQL and data modeling best practices is essential, along with familiarity with streaming frameworks like Kafka, Spark Streaming, or Flink. Knowledge of dbt, data contracts, and other modern data tooling will be advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is typically required, along with several years of relevant experience in data engineering roles.
Responsibilities
