About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with a strong background in Oracle GoldenGate and Azure Data Engineering to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and managing real-time data replication solutions and scalable data pipelines. This position requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in CDC technologies, cloud-native architectures, and data integration practices. As a key contributor, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow, system reliability, and optimized performance across enterprise data landscapes.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 10 to 15 years of professional experience in data engineering or related fields. They should demonstrate extensive expertise in Oracle GoldenGate and Change Data Capture (CDC) mechanisms, with proven experience leading large-scale data initiatives. A comprehensive understanding of the Azure Data Engineering ecosystem, including Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, storage solutions, and security protocols, is essential. Candidates must have hands-on experience in designing cloud-native data architectures and implementing secure, efficient data workflows. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills are critical to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute data engineering programs with a focus on ownership, quality, and timely delivery.
- Design and implement real-time data replication solutions utilizing Oracle GoldenGate and CDC techniques to ensure data consistency and availability across systems.
- Build and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines and workflows, integrating diverse data sources into centralized platforms.
- Manage and optimize Oracle GoldenGate operations, troubleshoot replication issues, and enhance performance of data synchronization processes.
- Collaborate with Azure Data Services teams to develop cloud-native data architectures, leveraging Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, and associated storage and security components.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to deploy, monitor, and secure data solutions, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, promoting best practices in data engineering and architecture.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand data requirements, communicate progress, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering, continuously improving processes and solutions.
