About The Role
We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our dynamic team remotely. This role is ideal for individuals with 0 to 5 years of experience who are passionate about building scalable data pipelines and optimizing data infrastructure. As a Data Engineer at Claroda, you will play a crucial role in designing and maintaining our data ecosystem, ensuring data accessibility, reliability, and performance for analytics and business intelligence initiatives. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality insights and support strategic decision-making across various departments.
Qualifications
- 0–5 years of experience in Data Engineering or related backend roles.
- Hands-on experience with modern cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, including writing and optimizing complex queries.
- Experience with data orchestration and pipeline tools like Airflow, dbt, Fivetran, or Matillion.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and schema design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines and models to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Build and optimize Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) workflows to facilitate data ingestion from multiple sources.
- Create efficient SQL transformations to develop analytics-ready datasets for business teams.
- Work with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Monitor and optimize platform performance, including storage, compute costs, and query efficiency.
- Collaborate with analytics, product, and business teams to understand and translate data requirements into technical solutions.
- Implement and uphold data quality, governance, and security standards throughout the data lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing to maintain high technical standards.
