About The Role
We are seeking a talented Data Engineer with 0-5 years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions that support our clients' strategic objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including analytics, product management, and business units to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in SQL, cloud data warehouses, and data pipeline orchestration tools, with a passion for solving complex data challenges. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise and a proactive mindset. Candidates should have 0-5 years of experience in data engineering or related backend roles, demonstrating proficiency in modern cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks. Advanced SQL skills are essential, including the ability to write and optimize complex queries for performance and efficiency. Experience with data orchestration and pipeline tools like Airflow, dbt, Fivetran, or Matillion is highly desirable. A solid understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is required, along with knowledge of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and schema design. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field is mandatory.
Responsibilities
The core responsibilities of this role include designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and scalable data models to support analytics and reporting needs. You will build and optimize ELT/ETL workflows to ingest data from various internal and external sources, ensuring data is accessible and reliable. Developing efficient SQL-based transformations and creating analytics-ready datasets will be a key aspect of your work. You will work with diverse data types, including structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, ensuring optimal platform performance by monitoring storage, compute costs, and query efficiency. Collaboration with analytics, product, and business teams is essential to understand and translate data requirements into technical solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining data quality, reliability, and governance throughout the data lifecycle, participating in code reviews, and ensuring high standards for technical documentation.
