Role SummaryDeltabase, headquartered in London, UK, is hiring an offshore Data Engineer to support our Operations team.
This role combines elements of managing the data pipeline of company intelligence r, and data engineering. . The successful candidate will help ensure intelligence requests are initiated and processed through the data pipeline, automate and manage company onboarding workflows, execute pipeline QA processes, and contribute to improving our automation and agentic capability.
We are looking for an experienced and organised data technician - analytical, with an understanding of company structures and intelligence with a high attention to detail.
Location & Working Hours· Fully remote / offshore role / Home working
· Must provide some overlap with UK business hours
· Ability to support US / Canada operational coverage where required
Salary & Contracting· Salary range: INR 2.45M - INR 3.21M per annum
· Contracting: Employed via Wisemonk EOR (Employer of Record)
Core Responsibilities· Support the Operations team ensuring intelligence requests from customers flow through the data pipeline
· Monitor and manage inbound requests and operational queues
· Perform QA and validation checks on company onboarding and intelligence requests
· Execute operational and technical tasks defined by the Operations team
· Support and maintain automated data acquisition processes
· Work with APIs, web scraping tools, crawlers, and AI-assisted workflows
· Help improve data quality, operational efficiency, and process automation
· Contribute to the continuous enhancement of internal tooling and workflows
Required Experience & SkillsEssential experience:
· 5 years + of Python development experience
· 5 years + of experience working with data pipelines, data acquisition, or automation workflows
· 5 years + of working in an international corporate company
· Experience using APIs, web scraping, web crawling, or similar data collection techniques
· Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
· Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
· Fluent in English with strong written English communication skills
· Ability to work independently and proactively
Essential Technical Skills:
· SQL / PostgreSQL experience
· Experience with cloud-hosted workflows or pipelines
· Experience using AI tooling within operational or data workflows
· Exposure to company intelligence, benchmarking, workforce data, competitor intelligence
· Background in data science, statistics, software engineering, or analytics
