We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms that support enterprise analytics and business intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in database design, ETL processes, and cloud-based data technologies, particularly within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
This role requires collaboration with business stakeholders, data analysts, and architects to deliver efficient, high-quality data solutions.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows for data integration and processing.
- Build and manage data ingestion frameworks from multiple data sources.
- Work with business teams to translate requirements into scalable data engineering solutions.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and Python scripts for data transformation and processing.
- Implement data solutions using Azure data services.
- Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability across enterprise data platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data analysts, data scientists, and architects.
- Maintain documentation and follow Agile development practices.
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Must Have Skills
4–10 years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Integration.
Strong knowledge of SQL and Python for data processing and transformation.
Hands-on experience building ETL / ELT pipelines.
Experience with Azure Data Factory.
Experience with Azure Data Lake.
Experience working with Azure Databricks using SQL or Python.
Strong understanding of database design and data modeling concepts.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have Skills
Experience working with **Microsoft Azure SQL Database or relational databases.
Familiarity with **Azure DevOps or Git for CI/CD pipelines and version control.
Knowledge of data quality management and data governance.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
