Apptware is Hiring Data Engineer
Location: Pune (Hybrid)
Experience: 3–5 Years Job Overview
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Data Engineer to design and build scalable, data-driven solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for developing robust data pipelines, implementing cloud-based architectures, and enabling advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and workflows across multiple data sources and platforms.
- Architect and implement modern data solutions using Azure technologies such as Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate analytical requirements into scalable data models and solutions.
- Develop data integration and transformation processes using Python, PySpark, and SQL.
- Support analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives through efficient data engineering practices.
- Contribute to end-to-end data architecture design including ingestion, transformation, storage, and delivery layers.
- Ensure data quality, governance, security, and performance optimization across platforms.
- Work in an agile environment and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
- Good understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT concepts, and cloud data architectures.
- Experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Exposure to analytics and machine learning workflows is an added advantage.
