Job Title: AWS Data Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated AWS Data Engineer with 4–6 years of experience to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines on AWS. The role involves working with IoT, OT, and IT data sources, enabling efficient data integration, and supporting analytics and business intelligence solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines on AWS
- Implement ETL/ELT processes for batch and real-time data ingestion
- Work with AWS services to build efficient data solutions
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency
- Build and maintain APIs and data integration layers
- Support BI, analytics, and reporting use cases
- Collaborate with Cloud, Data, and BI teams
- Monitor and optimize pipeline performance and cost
- Follow data governance, security, and compliance standards
Required Skills & Experience
Essential:
- 4–6 years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Integration
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, such as:
- S3, AWS Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Athena (basic to intermediate level)
- Strong knowledge of SQL and Python
- Experience in building ETL/ELT pipelines
- Understanding of data warehousing and data lakes
- Familiarity with streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, or MQTT)
- Experience with APIs and messaging systems
- Basic understanding of data modeling concepts (dimensional, time-series)
Good to Have:
- Exposure to IoT/OT data integration
- Knowledge of industrial protocols (OPC UA, ISA-95, MTConnect)
- Experience with CI/CD or DevOps tools
- Understanding of Docker or cloud deployment basics
