Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Data Engineer based in Pune City. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and data infrastructure. Other key responsibilities include optimizing data workflows, ensuring data security, conducting regular data quality checks, and working closely with cross-functional teams to meet data-related business needs. The role involves working with large data sets, implementing data modeling techniques, and staying updated with the latest technologies and best practices in data engineering.
Qualifications
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
- Strong skills in database technologies, including SQL, NoSQL, Big Data platforms, and data warehousing solutions
- Proficiency in cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Understanding of ETL processes, pipeline development, and data integration
- Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools
- Knowledge of data security, governance, and compliance practices
- Ability to collaborate in a dynamic team environment and communicate complex ideas clearly
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in the advertising or marketing domain will be an added advantage
