Role Overview
An opportunity is available for a Data Engineer / AI Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse and exposure to AI-driven analytics solutions.
This is a delivery-focused role involving the development of scalable data pipelines, optimized data models, and support for AI-powered applications such as conversational analytics using LLM-based frameworks. The role provides growing ownership in both technical implementation and business-facing analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Snowflake Data Engineering
• Develop and maintain data models (Star Schema / Snowflake Schema)
• Build and optimize ELT pipelines within Snowflake
• Write efficient SQL queries and performance-optimized transformations
• Support ingestion of structured and semi-structured data
• Assist in warehouse sizing, clustering, and cost optimization
• Implement RBAC and data governance practices
AI & LLM Implementation Support
• Support development of AI agents using LLM frameworks
• Assist in building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) workflows
• Work on vector embeddings and semantic search solutions
• Participate in prompt engineering and validation processes
• Validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy and security
Conversational & Analytics Solutions
• Contribute to conversational analytics tools enabling natural language queries
• Integrate data models with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Translate business KPIs into data models and dashboards
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance
Collaboration & Delivery
• Collaborate with senior engineers, leads, and architects
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning
• Document data pipelines, models, and solution components
• Provide production support and troubleshooting
Candidate Requirements
• 4–7 years of experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Strong expertise in SQL (advanced joins, window functions, optimization)
• Working knowledge of Python
• Understanding of data modeling concepts (dimensional modeling preferred)
• Exposure to AI/LLM platforms or frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with RAG frameworks or semantic search
• Exposure to data governance and security models
• Experience working with semi-structured data (JSON, Parquet, etc.)
• Domain knowledge in HR, Sales, Finance, or Supply Chain analytics
• Relevant cloud or Snowflake certifications
Additional Information
• Candidates with a notice period of up to 1 month are preferred
• Hybrid work model with 3 days per week from the office
• Work location will be aligned with the respective office or client location
