💼 Experience: 5–10 Years
We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Data Engineer to build and manage enterprise-grade data pipelines and cloud data warehouses powering analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives across the organization.
This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in modern data engineering technologies along with deep understanding of SAP ECC/S4HANA data structures and enterprise data warehousing.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Design, develop, and maintain scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using Fivetran, HVR, and DBT
✅ Build and optimize cloud data warehouses on Snowflake / Redshift / Synapse
✅ Develop robust Python/PySpark-based ingestion and transformation frameworks
✅ Create and maintain dimensional data models (Kimball methodology) for Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and HR domains
✅ Develop and optimize DBT models, macros, tests, and CI/CD workflows
✅ Work extensively with SAP ECC/S4HANA source systems including SD, FICO, MM, and PP modules
✅ Implement data quality, observability, monitoring, and lineage frameworks
✅ Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and ensure operational stability
✅ Collaborate with Data Architects, BI teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions
Required Skills
🔹 Strong experience with Snowflake / Redshift / Synapse
🔹 Hands-on expertise in DBT, Fivetran, and HVR
🔹 Strong Python and PySpark programming skills
🔹 Advanced SQL and query optimization expertise
🔹 Deep understanding of SAP ECC/S4HANA tables and relationships
🔹 Experience with dimensional data modeling and enterprise data warehousing
🔹 Experience building pipelines from SAP, Salesforce, and Workday
Preferred Skills
✔ Exposure to Databricks, Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg
✔ Experience with Airflow / Dagster / Prefect
✔ Knowledge of Kafka, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures
✔ Familiarity with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
✔ Exposure to data observability tools like Monte Carlo, Soda, or Atlan
Qualifications
🎓 Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline
🎓 5+ years of professional data engineering experience
🎓 Experience delivering enterprise cloud data warehouse solutions from SAP ECC/S4HANA
