Must-Have Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Scala
- Good experience in PySpark
- Strong knowledge of data engineering concepts and ETL/ELT pipelines
- Experience in working with any cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong experience with Spark and distributed data processing
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Experience handling large-scale data transformation and ingestion
- Understanding of data modeling, data lakes, and data warehousing
- Experience with workflow orchestration and scheduling tools
- Strong debugging, optimization, and performance tuning skills
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Kafka or other streaming technologies
- Exposure to Databricks
- Knowledge of Hive, Hadoop, or other big data ecosystem tools
- Experience with Airflow
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to Delta Lake, Iceberg, or similar technologies
- Knowledge of Python beyond PySpark is an advantage
