Role OverviewLooking for a hands-on Data Engineer with strong experience in dbt and Snowflake to build and scale a modern data stack. The role involves working closely with business and analytics teams to deliver clean, reliable, and production-ready datasets.
This is a fast-paced environment where speed, ownership, and problem-solving are critical.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain robust data pipelines using dbt (ELT approach)
- Develop and optimise data models in Snowflake
- Transform raw data into clean, structured datasets for analytics and reporting
- Ensure data quality, testing, and documentation within dbt
- Work with multiple data sources (APIs, internal systems, third-party tools)
- Monitor pipeline performance and resolve issues proactively
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements
Core Requirements- 2–5 years of experience in Data Engineering / Analytics Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with dbt and Snowflake (must-have)
- Advanced SQL skills (query optimisation, complex transformations)
- Good working knowledge of Python
- Experience with data modelling (fact/dimension, staging layers)
- Familiarity with modern data stack concepts
Good to Have- Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow / Prefect)
- Exposure to e-commerce, pricing, or operational datasets
- Experience handling large-scale datasets
- Startup or high-growth environment experience
