Role Description
Data Curator (Remote | Contract | Non-IT | Apple Project)
We are hiring Data Curators for a high-visibility global project with a leading technology company (Apple). This is a fully remote, non-IT role ideal for candidates with strong English proficiency, content understanding, and analytical thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and validate large volumes of content and data for accuracy
- Identify errors, inconsistencies, and missing information
- Make corrections and improve overall data quality
- Work with limited or ambiguous information and apply sound judgment
- Identify patterns in recurring issues and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows and tools
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Excellent written and spoken English (C1 level or above preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle repetitive tasks
- Good decision-making skills, especially in ambiguous situations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to provide clear and structured feedback
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Comfortable working on Mac (macOS)
- Basic familiarity with iOS environments
PREFERRED:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS), preferably in English, Linguistics, Journalism, or related fields
- Experience in content review, moderation, quality analysis, or data annotation
- Awareness of media including movies, television, music, and social platforms
- Proficiency in a second language
