Position Summary
Litmus Infosystems is seeking a Senior Data Consultant to support the development of a web-based Dealer Management System (DMS) for a US based Fortune 500 Client. The consultant will work closely with DBAs, Solution Architects, Product Owners, and development teams to design scalable data solutions, improve data quality, and provide strategic guidance on data architecture and analytics. The ideal candidate helps organizations manage, analyze, and leverage complex datasets to drive strategic business decisions. They typically assess data needs, design storage architectures, improve data quality, and implement analytics processes to provide actionable, data-driven insights.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize enterprise data solutions and SQL Server databases.
- Collaborate with DBAs, Solution Architects, Product Owners, and development teams.
- Support microservices by implementing efficient and scalable data architectures.
- Improve data quality, governance, performance, and reporting capabilities.
- Translate business requirements into data-driven solutions and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in data consulting, data architecture, or related roles.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including performance tuning and data modeling.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Must be available to work Monday–Friday during U.S. Eastern Time, through 3:00 PM EST.
- Willing to travel to the client site.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of Dealer Management Systems (DMS) is a strong plus.
- Experience working on enterprise web application projects.
