We are seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Data Cloud Developer to lead the design
and implementation of a Customer 360 platform from the ground up. This role will be
responsible for building a unified customer data foundation, establishing robust data
governance practices, and enabling activation across marketing, analytics, and
personalization use cases.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role requiring a blend of data architecture, Salesforce
expertise, and strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities
Customer 360 Architecture & Strategy
- Design and implement a unified Customer 360 data model
- Define and build the Golden Customer Profile across multiple systems
- Develop identity resolution and data unification strategies
- Align business definitions across teams (e.g., customer, account, lifecycle stages)
Salesforce Data Cloud Implementation
- Lead end-to-end implementation of Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP)
- Configure:
Data Streams (batch and real-time ingestion)
Data Model Objects (DMOs)
Identity resolution rules
Calculated Insights and segmentation
Salesforce Clouds (Sales, MCP, MCAE, MCE)
External systems (data lakes, warehouses, Marketing APIs, etc.)
Data Engineering & Integration
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ingestion frameworks
- Ensure proper data transformation, normalization, and harmonization
- Collaborate with engineering teams on enabling the data into Snowflake.
Data Governance & Quality
- Define and implement a data governance framework, including:
Data ownership and stewardship
Data quality standards and monitoring
Access control and security policies
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations
- Establish processes for data validation, auditing, and lineage tracking
Data Dictionary & Metadata Management
- Build and maintain a comprehensive data dictionary and metadata catalog
- Document:
Data definitions
Source-to-target mappings
Transformation logic and lineage
- Standardize naming conventions and schema governance
Activation & Business Enablement
- Enable downstream use cases, including:
Analytical and AI/ML use cases
Audience segmentation
Personalization and campaign targeting
- Partner with Marketing, Product, and Analytics teams to drive adoption
Required Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of experience in data architecture, CDP, or CRM ecosystems
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Customer Data Platform)
- Proven experience designing and implementing Customer 360 solutions
- Strong expertise in:
Data modeling (customer-centric schemas)
SQL and data transformation
Data integration and APIs
- Experience with data governance frameworks and data catalog tools
- Prior experience in CDP implementations
