📢 We’re Hiring | Data Center Site Manager
📍 Kuwait | On-site
Digitus Group is seeking an experienced Data Center Site Manager to manage the end-to-end operations of a mission-critical data center environment in Kuwait.
The role is responsible for ensuring site availability, operational performance, customer commitments, financial performance, and effective coordination of site operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage overall site availability and operational performance
• Ensure compliance with customer SLAs, KPIs, and service commitments
• Oversee 24/7 data center operations across engineering and technician teams
• Monitor critical electrical, mechanical, cooling, and controls infrastructure
• Manage capacity planning across power, cooling, and space
• Identify operational risks and ensure appropriate mitigation measures are implemented
• Coordinate site response during major incidents and critical escalations
• Manage incident reviews, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Oversee maintenance activities, operational procedures, permits, shift handovers, logs, and escalation processes
• Manage OEMs, contractors, vendors, and maintenance service providers
• Maintain business continuity and emergency response readiness
• Manage customer escalations and operational communication
• Support staff competency development and succession planning
• Ensure regulatory, safety, and operational compliance across the site
• Manage site budgets, operating costs, and P&L requirements
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, strongly preferred
• 10+ years of experience in data center or mission-critical facility operations
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data center site management or a comparable critical-facilities role
• Strong technical knowledge across electrical, mechanical, cooling, BMS/controls, and critical infrastructure systems
• Proven experience managing 24/7 critical operations
• Strong experience in operational risk, incident management, maintenance governance, and business continuity
• Experience managing customer SLAs, vendors, OEMs, and technical service contracts
• Good commercial understanding of budgets, operating costs, and P&L
• Experience within a hyperscale or large mission-critical data center environment is highly preferred
• Data center certifications such as CDCP, CDCE, Uptime Institute ATD or AOS are an advantage
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Availability to support major incident escalation on a 24/7 basis
