Role Description
The candidate will be responsible for understanding customer network requirements across multi-vendor environments and designing and/or implementing the target network infrastructure within hybrid and multi-cloud setups, with a primary focus on private cloud deployments. The infrastructure may include switches and routers from various vendors. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of compute, storage, and backup solutions into the overall network architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and architect scalable, secure, and resilient multi-vendor network solutions.
- Develop high-level and low-level network design documentation prior to deployment.
- Create detailed "as-built" documentation following implementation.
- Support pursuit and pre-sales activities by analyzing customer requirements and proposing tailored network solutions.
- Conduct data center assessments, perform gap analyses, and provide recommendations aligned with industry best practices.
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation and orchestration to improve operational efficiency.

Skill Requirements
- Hands-on experience in Professional Services: Advisory, Design, Implementation, Configuration, and Assessment in Data Center Networking environments.
- Minimum 3–4 years of consulting and advisory experience with the following vendors:
Aruba
- AOS-CX & AOS switching (Link aggregation, VLAN, IP, Stacking, VSX/VSF, MLAG)
- Routing (BGP, OSPF, Static)
- VXLAN-EVPN, Spine-Leaf Architecture
- SD-WAN (SilverPeak & Aruba SD-Branch)
Juniper
- JUNOS OS
- ACX/QFX/PTX switches
- Switching & Routing
- VXLAN-EVPN
- Apstra, Paragon
Cisco
- Catalyst switches
- Nexus switches
- Cisco ACI
- Switching & Routing
FlexFabric
- Comware OS
- Switching
- VXLAN-EVPN
NVIDIA Spectrum-X and Infiniband
- Valid professional-level certification (e.g., CCNP or equivalent or higher).
- Strong understanding of all data center components (e.g., virtualization, compute, storage, backup).
Preferable
- Experience with automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible, Chef, Terraform, Perl, etc.).
- Good understanding of cloud technologies (private and/or public) from an integration perspective.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Candidate Selection Guidelines
- Candidates from managed services or support backgrounds will not be considered.
- Candidates must demonstrate advisory experience in Professional Services, including design and deployment.
- Candidates with DevOps skills will be preferred.
- Candidates must have design experience with Aruba and Juniper. Cisco-only backgrounds will not be accepted unless supplemented with Aruba/Juniper expertise.
