About Habot Connect FZCO
Habot Connect FZCO is a Dubai-based, bootstrapped, 100% remote digital platform connecting parents with Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) for children with learning difficulties. We operate on a high-accountability, performance-driven culture that prioritizes quality and data clarity over speed.
Using our Deconstruction and Data Flow (DCDF) framework, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and automated pipelines, we architect structured data through data lineage. Joining our team of 50 employees means collaborating in a fast-paced environment with strong leadership support for those who take full ownership.
About the Role
Unlike traditional software developers who write production code or data analysts who interpret historical metrics, your day is focused purely on structural system design. You will spend your daily work deconstructing operational workflows into granular data components, mapping data pathways, designing database schemas, writing pseudocode specifications, aligning with stakeholders, and defining data validation gates.
Role Goal: You will act as the architectural bridge between business requirements and technical execution, translating complex business workflows into streamlined, automated data pipelines. You will serve as the primary source of technical clarity between non-technical business stakeholders and software engineering teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Business-to-System Translation: Analyze complex business objectives and deconstruct them into logical, step-by-step data flow diagrams and architectural blueprints.
- Team Lead Assistance & Daily Syncs: Directly assist the Team Leader with architecture planning, task execution, and attend mandatory daily meetings.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Meet with internal cross-functional stakeholders and domain leaders to gather logic requirements, clarify system workflows, and validate data specifications.
- Data Lineage Mapping: Map the continuous, unbroken journey of data backward from its final target output to its absolute source origin, ensuring perfect traceability.
- Schema & Database Design: Design strict, highly performant database schemas. Break down complex data into granular, atomic elements to ensure optimal storage, reusability, and relational integrity.
- Logic Blueprinting: Write clear, standardized pseudocode and technical specifications that translate business rules into objective, binary logic for software developers to implement.
- Data Integrity & Validation: Design automated reconciliation checks and embedded compliance gates within the data flow to mathematically verify data accuracy before it moves between system nodes.
- Exception Handling Design: Architect precise routing logic for data that fails automated validation, ensuring corrupted or incomplete data is safely quarantined for review.
Core Competencies
Technical Skills & Tools
- Data Deconstruction ("Knows the Data"): Deep analytical ability to deconstruct complex business operations, master data models, and reverse-engineer workflows using the Deconstruction and Data Flow (DCDF) framework.
- Diagramming Tools: Proficiency in using Figma, Lucidchart, or Draw.io for mapping intuitive data flows, system process visualization, and architectural wireframing.
- Google Workspace: Hands-on experience using Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) for structured reporting, project tracking, documentation, and dynamic collaboration.
- Database Architecture: Strong understanding of relational database design (e.g., PostgreSQL), schema constraints, primary/foreign key relationships, and data normalization.
- Technical Specification Writing: Expertise in writing clear, jargon-free pseudocode or logical rule sets that backend software engineers can translate directly into backend code.
- Systems Thinking & Cloud Fundamentals: Ability to view processes objectively as data moving through filters and validation gates. Familiarity with modern cloud environments (e.g., GCP), analytical data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery), and decoupled microservice architectures.
Behavioral & Soft Skills
- Bridge Communication & Stakeholder Liaison: Demonstrated experience meeting with cross-functional stakeholders to translate abstract business requests into binary specifications.
- Proactive Collaboration & Leadership Assistance: Ability to support team leads, actively contribute during daily syncs, and take full ownership of assigned architectural deliverables.
- Root-Cause Bottleneck Identification: Track record of identifying operational process bottlenecks and designing automated, data-driven solutions to replace manual workflows.
- Quality & Data Clarity Focus: Meticulous attention to detail, maintaining high accountability in alignment with our high-clarity performance culture.
Onboarding & Success Path
Selected candidates must successfully complete a mandatory structured onboarding and training program. Engagement and progress during onboarding are closely monitored and form part of the probation evaluation. Failure to complete required training or demonstrate sufficient involvement may result in the offer being withdrawn.
What This Role Is NOT
- NOT a Software Developer Role: You will not be writing production application code or deploying software builds.
- NOT a Data Analyst or BI Role: You will not be querying historical metrics, generating reporting dashboards, or interpreting business trends.
- NOT a Creative or Graphic Design Role: While Figma is used as a layout/wireframing tool for data flows, this is strictly a logic and database mapping role, not visual UI design.
Application Process
Interested candidates are invited to apply for this exciting opportunity. As part of our evaluation process, you will be required to complete a short Hiring Project simulating the analytical tasks of this role.
