About The Role
P99Soft Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced and highly driven
Data Lead / Data Architect to join our growing data engineering team. We are seeking a candidate with deep expertise in modern data platforms, cloud technologies, and AI-driven solutions who can lead the design and implementation of scalable enterprise data architectures.
The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on experience in
Snowflake, AWS, Data Modeling, Python, and AI tools/frameworks, along with the ability to mentor teams and drive data strategy initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms and pipelines.
- Lead end-to-end implementation of enterprise data solutions using Snowflake and AWS.
- Develop and optimize data models for analytics, reporting, and AI/ML use cases.
- Build robust ETL/ELT pipelines and modern data workflows.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and leadership to define data strategies and roadmaps.
- Integrate AI tools and automation capabilities into data engineering workflows.
- Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance standards are maintained.
- Provide technical leadership, code reviews, mentoring, and best practices to engineering teams.
- Optimize data warehouse performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or related domains.
- Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, optimization, and implementation.
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Lambda, Glue, EMR, Athena, etc.
- Strong knowledge of Data Modeling concepts (Dimensional Modeling, Star/Snowflake Schema, Data Vault, etc.).
- Advanced proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation.
- Experience working with modern AI tools/frameworks and data-driven AI solutions.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and big data ecosystems.
- Experience with SQL optimization and performance tuning.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Good to Have
- Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow.
- Exposure to Databricks or modern lakehouse architectures.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices for data platforms.
- Certifications in AWS or Snowflake would be an added advantage.
