About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect specializing in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) to join our dynamic team remotely. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data modeling, ETL processes, and data transformation on large datasets. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data schemas, ingestion pipelines, and customer-centric datasets to support advanced analytics and marketing initiatives. You will interface directly with enterprise clients, understanding their requirements, and translating them into technical solutions that align with their strategic goals. Your expertise will enable organizations to create comprehensive 360-degree customer views, enhance their data infrastructure, and optimize their digital marketing efforts.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in data transformation, ETL processes, and large-scale data management. A strong foundation in data modeling—relational, dimensional, columnar, and big data—is essential, along with extensive experience in SQL and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with industry-standard ETL tools such as Informatica and Unifi is required. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of advanced data warehouse concepts and reporting technologies like Tableau and PowerBI. A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field is mandatory. Special consideration will be given to those with experience in Adobe Experience Cloud solutions, digital analytics, programming languages such as Python, Java, or Bash scripting, and Big Data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, Redshift, Snowflake, Hive, and Pig. Proven experience as an enterprise technical consultant or engineer is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Interface with Adobe customers to gather detailed requirements, design tailored solutions, and provide strategic recommendations that align with their business objectives.
- Lead customer project conference calls and collaborate closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery and alignment with project scope.
- Develop comprehensive technical specifications documents for client review, ensuring clarity and feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Work in close collaboration with onshore and offshore software engineering teams to develop, test, and deploy data schemas and ingestion pipelines.
- Leverage deep understanding of data relationships and schemas to structure data for dynamic customer-level analysis, enabling personalized marketing and customer insights.
- Construct and optimize processes to generate Customer ID mapping files, facilitating a unified 360-degree view of customers across various data sources.
- Utilize scripting languages to automate key data processes, including data movement, cleansing, transformation, and validation activities.
- Manage project timelines, billings, and forecasting to ensure efficient resource utilization and project success.
- Innovate and propose new ideas and approaches to solve complex customer data challenges, enhancing overall solution effectiveness.
