Role--
This is a senior architect role anchored to the Platform Data & Analytics team with horizontal influence across every product team. You will own our data warehouse end to end — the analytics and BI foundation the entire platform depends on.
• The data warehouse — built on Snowflake. — The analytics and BI layer where data from operational systems is reshaped for executive reporting, customer-facing analytics, and AI/ML consumption. We need someone who is an expert on the Snowflake platform and has architected warehouse layers from scratch — dimensional modeling, semantic layer, ETL/ELT — at SaaS scale, building the warehouse from both SQL and NoSQL source systems.
You will set the standards, build reference implementations, and stay deeply hands-on with SQL, modeling, and pipeline code. You will partner directly with the Director of Platform Engineering, Heads of Product, the AI team, and engineering leads across the org.
What You'll Do
- Own the data warehouse and analytics layer on Snowflake — dimensional model, semantic layer, ETL/ELT, ingestion from SQL and NoSQL source systems. Build the substrate AI features consume.
- Stay deeply hands-on (40–60% in code / SQL). — Write reference pipelines, complex stored procedures, dimensional models, and the first cut of every new data capability.
- Govern the data layer for multi-tenant SaaS — partitioning, tenant isolation, row-level security, tenant onboarding/offboarding, data residency.
- Set data standards across product teams — schemas, contracts, naming, change management, lineage, ownership, deprecation. Write the docs and the example code.
