A fast-growing organization operating in the AI training-data and machine-learning services sector, focused on producing high-quality labeled datasets for computer vision, natural language processing (NLP), and speech recognition models. This is a fully remote role based in India supporting global ML pipelines and model training workflows.
Primary Title: Data Annotation Specialist (Remote - India)
Role & Responsibilities
- Annotate and label datasets across modalities (images, video, text, and audio) following detailed annotation guidelines and taxonomies.
- Create precise labels using bounding boxes, polygons, segmentation masks, NER tags, intent labels, and time-stamped audio transcripts.
- Perform quality checks and peer reviews to identify errors, reduce label drift, and meet accuracy targets.
- Use industry-standard annotation platforms to complete tasks at scale and escalate ambiguous cases to leads.
- Log and report annotation metrics, throughput, and recurring edge cases to improve guidelines and tooling.
- Collaborate with data engineers and ML annotators to support dataset versioning and maintain annotation consistency.
