Role Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analytics Manager to drive data-led decision-making within our debt collections call centre operations. The role involves analyzing large datasets, generating actionable insights, and optimizing collection strategies to improve recovery rates, operational efficiency, and agent performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze collections data (dialer, agent performance, payment trends, roll rates) to identify patterns and improvement opportunities
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and MIS reports for daily, weekly, and monthly performance tracking
  • Work closely with operations, strategy, and technology teams to optimize collection strategies and workflows
  • Monitor KPIs such as PTP (Promise to Pay), RPC (Right Party Contact), conversion rates, and recovery efficiency
  • Design and implement predictive models for collections prioritization and segmentation
  • Conduct root cause analysis on delinquency trends and performance gaps
  • Support dialer strategy optimization (campaign allocation, call attempts, timing strategies)
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across multiple systems
  • Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management


Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI / Tableau
  • Experience with large datasets and data visualization techniques
  • Understanding of debt collections lifecycle and contact-centre operations
  • Knowledge of predictive analytics and statistical techniques (preferred)
  • Ability to translate complex data into simple business insights
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy


Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or related field
  • Postgraduate qualification (MBA / Analytics specialization) is a plus
  • Preferred Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a data analytics role within debt collections / BFSI / contact-centre environment
  • Experience working with dialer systems and collections tools
  • Exposure to portfolio segmentation and strategy analytics
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Improvement in collection efficiency and recovery rates
  • Reduction in delinquency buckets
  • Accuracy and timeliness of reporting
  • Impact of analytics-driven strategies on business outcomes
