Role Description This remote Data Analytics Intern role is an internship position focused on supporting data-driven decision-making across projects and business functions. The intern will assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency, and will perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Day-to-day tasks include preparing reports, dashboards, and visualizations, documenting methods and findings, and collaborating with senior analysts and cross-functional teams on ongoing analytics initiatives. The intern will also contribute to basic data modeling tasks, help maintain data management standards, and support continuous improvement of analytics processes and tools.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Data Analytics and Data Analysis, with the ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
- Excellent Analytical Skills and problem-solving abilities to derive insights and support business decisions.
- Knowledge of Data Management practices, including data cleaning, validation, and organization.
- Basic understanding of Data Modeling concepts and their application in reporting and analytics.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools or languages (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R, or BI tools) is highly beneficial.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with distributed teams.
- Interest in AI, ML, blockchain, cloud, or big data technologies and a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced tech setting.
