About The Role
We are seeking highly experienced Senior Data & Analytics Engineers with over 10 years of industry experience to lead end-to-end data engineering initiatives. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and managing scalable data platforms that support strategic decision-making and business growth. This role requires a deep technical understanding of modern data architecture, including expertise in Snowflake, dbt, and AWS cloud services. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to deliver high-quality data solutions. The position offers the flexibility of remote work and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic, innovative organization that values expertise and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in Data Engineering, Data & Analytics.
- Proficiency in Snowflake data platform and dbt transformation workflows.
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, and EC2.
- Excellent SQL, Python, and data modeling skills.
- Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ability to lead large-scale data architecture projects and mentor junior team members.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of large-scale data architectures and pipelines to support enterprise data needs.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain data models and transformation workflows using dbt.
- Architect and manage scalable data warehousing solutions on Snowflake, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Build and maintain high-quality ETL/ELT processes to facilitate seamless data integration.
- Leverage AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, and EC2 to enhance data workflows and infrastructure.
- Drive initiatives related to data quality, governance, and security to ensure compliance and integrity.
- Optimize data platform performance and implement best practices for data management.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices within the team to foster continuous improvement.
