Position - Data Analyst
Work Type - Open for both Permanent and Contractual candidates
Location - HBR Layout, Bangalore
We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst with 3+ years of experience, specializing in Power BI, to transform data into meaningful insights that drive business decisions. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience in data visualization, and the ability to work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Transform raw data into actionable insights through data modeling and visualization
- Connect Power BI to multiple data sources (SQL databases, Excel, APIs, etc.)
- Perform data cleaning, transformation, and validation using Power Query and DAX
- Write and optimize complex DAX calculations and measures
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into reports
- Monitor and improve report performance and usability
- Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance standards
- Support ad-hoc data analysis and reporting needs
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (Dashboarding, DAX, Power Query)
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Good understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, relationships)
- Experience working with Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
