Job Description
We are seeking a highly capable Data Analyst to support strategic initiatives with a strong focus on data mapping, data quality rules, and business-driven analysis. This role is responsible for helping ensure data integrity, supporting governance standards, and translating business needs into well-structured analytical solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with effective stakeholder communication and the ability to frame business problems clearly within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and validate data mapping documentation to support business and technical requirements.
- Define, implement, and monitor data quality rules to improve data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Support strategic initiatives by analyzing data, identifying issues, and recommending practical solutions.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify objectives, and align data efforts with organizational priorities.
- Perform complex data analysis using SQL and Snowflake to support reporting, operational needs, and decision-making.
- Contribute to system configuration activities related to data setup, validation, and process support.
- Apply data governance principles to ensure proper data usage, control, and quality standards.
- Develop insights and reporting outputs using business intelligence tools.
- Assist in framing business problems and translating them into analytical approaches and measurable outcomes.
- Support exploratory analysis using modern analytical techniques, including basic AI-assisted analysis where appropriate.
Required Skills
- Experience in data analysis with a strong focus on data mapping and data quality management.
- System configuration experience in support of business or data processes.
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to analyze, validate, and troubleshoot data effectively.
- Hands-on experience working with Snowflake.
- Solid understanding of data governance and data quality concepts.
- Experience using BI tools to develop reporting, dashboards, or analytical outputs.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
- Ability to frame business problems clearly and translate them into analytical requirements.
- Awareness of AI-assisted analysis concepts and a foundational understanding of machine learning applications in analytics.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving capability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the index data domain.
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
- Experience working in cross-functional environments supporting data governance and reporting objectives.
