Data Analyst / MIS Executive – Sales Operations

The Opportunity
We are looking for a sharp, analytically minded Data Analyst / MIS Executive to be the data backbone of our Sales Operations team. This is not a back-office reporting role — it is a frontline position where your insights will directly influence sales strategy, pipeline decisions, and revenue outcomes.

What You Will Do
Sales Operations & CRM Support
- Own and maintain CRM data hygiene — ensuring records, pipelines, contacts, and activity logs are accurate, complete, and up to date
- Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports tracking leads, conversions, pipeline velocity, and revenue metrics
- Support the sales team with territory data, account intelligence, and prospect list management
- Analyse CRM data to identify trends, drop-off points, and opportunities across the sales funnel
- Assist in building and managing email marketing campaigns via platforms such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, or Act-On, and track campaign performance metrics
MIS Reporting & Dashboards
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and trackers for sales, operations, and leadership teams
- Prepare accurate MIS reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly cadence
- Monitor operational and sales KPIs, flag deviations, and recommend corrective actions
- Automate routine reporting workflows to improve speed and reduce manual effort
- Maintain data documentation, naming conventions, and reporting standards
Data Management & Analysis
- Collect, validate, clean, and consolidate data from multiple sources including CRM, spreadsheets, and operational systems
- Handle ad-hoc data requests from sales, finance, and leadership teams with speed and accuracy
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand evolving reporting needs and resolve data discrepancies
What We Are Looking For
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets — Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, nested formulas, and data validation
- Hands-on experience with a CRM platform — HubSpot strongly preferred; Salesforce or Zoho also considered
- Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio — you own dashboards, not just maintain them
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, or Act-On
- Basic knowledge of SQL or relational databases is a distinct advantage
- Comfort working with AI productivity tools — including ChatGPT, Google Gemini, NotebookLM, Microsoft Copilot, or Google AI Studio
- Working knowledge of prompt engineering to leverage AI tools for reporting, summarization, and workflow efficiency.
Professional Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a zero-tolerance approach to data inaccuracies
- Ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines simultaneously without compromising quality
- Strong analytical thinking — able to translate raw data into clear, actionable narratives
- Excellent written and spoken communication in English
- Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working closely with sales and business teams
Qualifications & Experience
- Academic: Bachelor's degree in BBA, Statistics, Economics, Commerce, or a related discipline from a reputed college or university
- Academic Record: 85% and above in both 10th and 12th standards from an English-medium school; preference for candidates from reputed schools in metro or Tier 1/Tier 2 cities
- Experience: 1–3 years in a Data Analyst, MIS, or Sales Operations support role
- Prior experience supporting a sales or business development team is strongly preferred
- Demonstrable experience with CRM platforms and sales data workflows is essential
- Full fluency in English — both written and spoken — is non-negotiable
