Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Intern role based in Pune City. The intern will support the cybersecurity team in conducting research on emerging threats, documenting findings, and assisting with security assessments across web, API, cloud, and network environments. Day-to-day tasks may include helping prepare reports, organizing evidence and artifacts, supporting vulnerability tracking and remediation documentation, and participating in internal knowledge-sharing activities. The intern will also assist with basic compliance-related tasks, such as collecting and organizing information for ISO 27001, SOC 2, and other frameworks, under the guidance of senior team members. This role offers exposure to real-world security projects and methodologies while contributing to the delivery of services for clients in diverse industries.
Qualifications
- Foundational cybersecurity knowledge, including basic understanding of web, API, network, and cloud security concepts.
- Practical familiarity with security frameworks or standards (e.g., OWASP Top 10, NIST, CIS Benchmarks, ISO 27001) is highly beneficial.
- Comfort using Linux/Windows operating systems, command-line tools, and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, firewalls).
- Ability to research technical topics, analyze documentation, and clearly summarize findings in written form.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for handling evidence, reports, and structured templates.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English for collaborating with team members and documenting work.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree or certification in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is preferred.
- Interest in pursuing cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CEH, OSCP, CompTIA Security+) is considered an advantage.
