Role Purpose
Create a reliable packaging-compliance data and reporting capability by gathering, validating, reconciling and combining information from multiple internal and external sources. Convert raw packaging data into repeatable customer, distributor and authority-ready outputs, with clear assumptions, source traceability and quality controls, while adapting the data model to new jurisdictions and future requirements.
Core Responsibilities
- Extract and reconcile packaging data from SAP/BI reports, Excel files, contract manufacturers, suppliers and other approved systems.
- Build repeatable datasets and reporting workflows that combine product, material, supplier, market and packaging-component information.
- Prepare Declarations of Conformity, reports with packaging weights for EPR reporting, recycled-content summaries, material-reduction progress and design-optimization analyses.
- Track emerging packaging regulations with Regulatory and Sustainability teams, translate new obligations into data requirements, and update reporting models and templates.
- Perform quality checks, investigate gaps and coordinate corrections across Packaging Engineering, Operations, Procurement, IT and external partners.
- Maintain version control, reporting calendars, audit trails and supporting evidence so outputs are reproducible and defensible.
- Develop dashboards showing completeness, deadlines, compliance risks, packaging-weight trends and reduction opportunities.
- Standardize templates and automate recurring work where practical without compromising control.
