About The Role
The role at Tiger Analytics is a dynamic and challenging position designed for professionals with a strong background in data analysis, analytics project execution, and domain expertise. As a key member of our analytics team, you will be responsible for creating client-centric analytic solutions that address complex business problems. Your role will involve owning and delivering multiple analytics projects, translating business needs into actionable insights, and developing innovative solutions that generate measurable economic value. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and senior management, to ensure the successful execution of analytics initiatives.
This position requires a blend of technical proficiency, domain knowledge, and excellent communication skills. You will serve as a domain expert in your area of specialization, such as customer acquisition, retention, product development, or pricing optimization, while maintaining a holistic view of other business lines. The role also involves mentoring junior team members, contributing to organizational initiatives, and continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge base. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields, complemented by relevant professional experience. A Master’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Applications, or Engineering from a premier institute is preferred. Alternatively, a B.Tech/B.E. or MCA degree in similar disciplines with 5-8 years of hands-on experience in reporting, MIS, and data analysis solutions will also be considered.
Proficiency in key analytical tools and platforms is essential. Candidates should have experience with Python, SAS, SQL, Teradata, and MS Excel, PowerPoint, and VBA. Knowledge of Big Data/Hadoop environments, SAS on Mainframe, or Tableau dashboard development is highly desirable. Additionally, familiarity with banking domains such as cards, deposits, loans, wealth management, and insurance, along with an understanding of audit frameworks and data quality standards, will be advantageous.

- Own and deliver multiple, complex analytics projects, translating business problems into technical solutions that create economic value.
- Develop and maintain domain expertise in areas such as customer acquisition, retention, product development, pricing, and digital journey optimization.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders, influencing decision-making at various organizational levels.
- Operate in a techno-functional capacity, providing both standardized reports and on-demand ad hoc analyses.
- Manage projects efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Participate in organizational initiatives related to competency development, training, and organizational building activities.
